2020 CPS Legends Project Submission Information (for seniors only)
Project Description: You are part of the legendary Class of 2020. While your senior year is not what anyone expected, you have a unique vantage point of what the world looks like right now. You are invited to document, not only this moment in your life, but this moment in our community’s history.
This project will collect the Cincinnati Public Schools’ Class of 2020 reflections of this time through video journal, written submission, music, art, and dance. We encourage all students to participate, at minimum by providing a video or written journal documenting your responses to the seven questions listed below under “Types of creations accepted”. Select submissions will be added to the Cincinnati Museum Center archives to develop a lasting, meaningful record of this time and a valuable resource for future generations.
What you can do: Share your own personal experiences and perspectives. Keep a journal, write a story, make a video of yourself, document the changes you see in photographs and videos, or create art that conveys the range of emotions you and others may feel in reaction to this pandemic. Also, please submit digital text or photo files of your personal experiences and perspectives directly to the Cincinnati Museum Center’s “Pandemic Stories: Greater Cincinnati and the 2020 COVID-19 Crisis.”
